1 Kings 17: 2-4

Then the word of the Lord came to Elijah: “Leave here, turn eastward and hide in the Kerith Ravine, east of the Jordan. You will drink from the brook and I have ordered the ravens to feed you there.”

Artist’s Interpretation:

“During the famine that had affected everyone in the area, God takes care of his servants. Here is Elijah almost in disbelief, parched by the intensity of drought, the ravens, as God instructed them, deliver sustenance to the prophet.”
